- Steam train railway crosses runway - This page is in Swedish, but if you scroll down a bit you'll find a photo of a Saab A 32A Lansen waiting for a train which crosses the runway at F 15 wing, Söderhamn. When the runways where lengthened, there was no space to reroute the railway again, so it had to cross the runway. About 10 trains per day used the crossing and the air traffic controllers had light signals for the railway, which had priority except in case of emergency. (2005-02-10)

- The way things really work: US F-15s Versus Indian Su-30s - The exercise with US F-15Cs vs Indian Su-30s wasn't quite a "level playing field":No AESA radars (usually two out for have, and that's what they train for), 3-to-1 odds, no active radar AMRAAM shots while the Indians could use fire-and-forget.
But also: "They also admit they underestimated the training and tactics of the Indian pilots. - USAF Offers Details Of Weapon Tailored For Iraq War - It's the CBU-107 Passive Attack Weapon, a WCMD filled with thousands of kinetic energy rods instead of explosive submunitions. No details as to target type, but to me it's clear it has to be really soft ones, as the WCMD isn't designed to give a lot of kinetic energy to its payload.
