[Catalina] Catalina

The Catalinas were designated Tp 47 and were mostly used for search and rescue work.


[Canberra] English Electric Canberra B Mk.IIB

Designation was Tp 52, but it wasn't exactly used as transport aircraft. Most of the time it was used for ELINT and equipment trials.

[Canberra] This one is configured to test the Lansen radar, and has a Lansen nose radome. The other type of nose they flew with had the tip replaced with a cone.

Built in 1960, military serial 52002. Previously with RAF as WH 905.


[Norseman] Noorduyn UC-64A Norseman Mk.VI

The Norseman were mainly used as an air ambulance, designation was Tp 78.


[DC-3] Douglas DC-3

The several DC-3s and C-47s in Swedish service were designated Tp 79.

Built in 1944, c/n 13647, military serial 79007, previously SE-CFR.


[Varsity] Vickers 668 Varsity

The single Varsity was designated Tp 82.

Built 1952, c/n 622, military serial 82001, previously with RAF as WJ 900.


[Pembroke] Hunting-Percival P.66 Pembroke C Mk.52

The first photo shows the Pembroke in 1996. [Pembroke] The second one shows it six year earlier, with the dayglo tape transports usually got in later to make them more visible. They were designated Tp 83.

Built in 1955, c/n P 66/52, military serial 83008.
