The Swedish air force operates Gulfstream IV in the VIP transport role since 1992. The first one's designation is TP 102A.
Two were purchased for the ELINT role in 1995 and
designated S 102B Korpen. Korp means
raven and the two are individually named Hugin and Munin
after Odin's pair of intelligence gathering ravens.
In Oct 2000 fourth Gulfstream IV, designated TP 102C, as it's slightly newer and has a bit better performance, was purchased and put in service on Dec 20:th and used for transport.
(It was originally intended it be sold again in 2001 when the Swedish chairmanship of EU ended, but instead the VIP Saab 340 will be sold.)
