[Two Tiger Moths in the air] de Havilland/ASJA DH 82 Tiger Moth in Swedish service

* 16 de Havilland and ASJA made DH 82s were in service as Sk 11 starting in 1932.

In addition, 20 ASJA DH 82As were in service from 1932, designation was Sk 11A.

The last Tiger Moth was retired in 1952.

[Tiger Moth, red/yellow] [Tiger Moth, red/yellow] At first they wore the red/yellow trainer scheme. Note that these two examples carry two slight variations of the scheme, one with the earlier where the wing number, here 5 for F 5, the central flying school was to the left of the national insignia, and the other the later variation where it was always in front of the insignia.

[Tiger Moth, grey/orange] Later on they wore the armour grey/orange trainer scheme.
