De fyra delarna av stenen var inmurade i väggen till sakristian, vilken blev byggd på 1400-talet, med inskriften delvis synlig 1829. Sedan blev kyrkan rappad och de doldes till 1942 då putsen togs bort och de sammanfogades och stenen placerades alldeles nära kyrkan. Den saknade delen var inte känd på 1600-talet. Stenen är 3,50 m hög.

The four pieces of the stones were part of the sacristy wall, which was built in the 15:th century, with the inscription partially visible in 1829. Later the church was whitewashed and they were hidden until 1942 when they were put together and the stone put close to the church. The missing piece was not known in the 17:th century. The stone stands 3.50 m tall.
