The Bureau of Agriculture in Sweden apparently thinks so: The wording in the proposed new regulations for keeping pets seems to include all ferrets and polecats in the same paragraphs. Not a very good thing, I think. Probably not much to do about, so I concentrate on trying to make the rules themselves as good as possible.
A little later, when she stood at the rim of the empty bath tub, and I told her it was OK to jump in, she hesitated and instead started to claw at the inside of her mouth. This was a sure sign that not everything was alright with her, so after some protests, I looked inside her mouth, and it immediately felt strange, and sure enough: The upper right fang was broken.
We'll be going to the vet tomorrow morning.
