Roxane is shaping up to become a real ferret: She's absolutely hopeless when it comes to stealing things, and will jump up towards my waist in order to get hold of the small rubber handled knife I often carry. Apart from that she naturally likes my cellular phone, more so after I showed her it can make sounds; And yesterday, while I was cleaning up after an incident involving some flower pots (the first requiring vacuum cleaner), she dragged parts of the vacuum cleaner off and tried to hide them. The other stole small, loose part of it when they were young, but Roxane goes for the large pieces.

She's practically litter trained, and I've never seen her not use the litter boxes. But I've seen results that can only be her not using them. Hard to decide if that's a display of intelligence or not...

Her weight isn't stable, she's been above 0.9 kg several times, but at least now she's gotten a proper shape. She's still not eating anything but cat and ferret food. And sausage. Chicken and pork interests her enough to take it in her mouth, but she doesn't eat it. Just like the piece of cheese she stole off my sandwich this morning!

Teeth are still her favourite tool, but nowadays it's not a real risk bringing her up to your face. And when she bites, it's never hard.

Two who've started to bite hard are Rustan and Carmen: Seems the sessions with Roxane've given them bad habits. But it's only happened once or twice.

Roxane is more accepted by the others now. You can find her sleeping together with any of them. But Natasja usually prefers to be on her own, or together with Rustan or Carmen.

Outdoors is still very exciting to her and I've stopped bringing her out on her own. It works much better if one of the more experienced ones can take care of her, and that's exactly what seems to happen. No fights and Roxane usually keeping close to them.

As for fights, it seems the others are treating her not as a kit anymore. She's not getting away with anything nowadays and even Alison who's got very little fangs left has started to grab her in the neck and drag her across the floor. Considering the relative sizes, that's pretty impressive. Three weeks ago, this sort of thing didn't happen.
